A distinctive wall wallpaper in gold metallic

The Edo Extra Gold mural brings to the wall a Japanese-inspired animal design printed in bright gold metallic on a non-woven base. It belongs to the Random Metallics collection, the family in which Coordonné works with metallic finishes, and it is the most luminous mural in the catalogue: gold here is not a flat colour, it is a surface that gives the light back and changes in intensity depending on the time of day and the angle you look from.

That behaviour is, in practice, its greatest decorative advantage. In a room with little natural light, the metallic picks up what there is and spreads it; with the warm light of late afternoon, the drawing lights up and gains depth. Edo Extra Gold therefore works especially well in hallways, dining rooms and circulation areas, where the wall is seen obliquely and in movement rather than head on.

A single version, metallic, 386×280 cm

Edo Extra Gold is made in one quality only: gold metallic with a bright finish on a non-woven base, with a weight of 260 g/m². The standard format is 386×280 cm and it is hung in 96 cm panels, pasting the wall with cellulose paste and butting the panels together, in order. Made-to-measure is available to fit the exact dimensions of the wall.

It is also the most hard-wearing of the four murals in the series: high light resistance, a BS1-D0 fire reaction classification, a surface washable with a damp cloth without rubbing, and easy to remove when you want a change. That combination makes it suitable for heavy-use spaces, commercial ones included, where a conventional wallpaper falls short.

For walls after light and character

In short, the Edo Extra Gold mural is for anyone who wants a wall that stands out without resorting to colour. The gold brings the light and the animal design brings the story: a distinctive wall wallpaper of restrained luxury, which holds its own and needs no accompaniment.

To go with it, choose one of our distinctive ceiling lights in brass or warm metal to echo the shine of the mural.
