A mango wood coffee table, all in wood or with a glass top

The Jacquard is made in three versions. The all-wood one is a single material, mango with a light finish, from top to bottom: with no glass or metal to interrupt, what you perceive is the continuity of the tone and the grain, and a serene presence that does not demand attention. The wood-and-glass one swaps the top for a transparent surface, so the mango structure stays in view underneath and the table weighs less to the eye, which is welcome in a small living room. To those two is added a third with a marble top, 80 × 90 × 20 cm, very low and close to the floor. In all of them the lines are pared back, cleanly cut, and they fit a contemporary living room as readily as one with a rustic feel.

The making is handcrafted, with everything that implies in a wood with a living grain: variations of tone, of size or of shape and certain imperfections — cracks, knots, marks — are understood here as added value that makes each piece unique. The light brown keeps the table on the bright side, close to raw and sand tones.

The square version measures 90 × 90 cm in plan, with 40 or 41 cm of height depending on the top, so the surface sits close to seat level and is reached comfortably. It is 25.7 kg: it can be repositioned by two people when the layout of the living room changes. It arrives flat-packed.
