A round black marble table on a single dark wood pedestal

It measures 120 cm in diameter and 76 cm high, and all the support is concentrated in a single central pedestal. That changes how it is used: there are no legs around the perimeter, chairs go in at any point and settle wherever needed. In a small dining room it is the solution that makes the most of the square metre, because nobody gets trapped between two supports.

The surface is natural marble in black, with the veining proper to the stone: every top brings its own pattern and none repeats. Underneath, the single pedestal is reclaimed wood in a dark brown tone, with the living texture of a reused wood. The contrast between the polished stone and the matt wood is what defines the piece, and what takes it out of the strictly classical dining room.

It weighs 94.8 kg split between top and base, a weight that keeps it firm when you cut or lean on the edge. It requires assembly and arrives in two packages; the top comes in a 131 × 131 cm box, a measurement worth checking if it has to go up a staircase.

It shares the section with the shop's other dining tables.
