Seissan Dining Table

A mango wood table of thick volumes and a 200 cm top

Mango wood in a brown tone, with no mixtures or veneers of another material. It is a dense wood, with a pronounced grain and a warm feel, that takes the continuous use of a dining table. The volumes are thick and the lines straight: the top and the supports read as pieces of a single material, and that is where the sculptural presence the table has in an empty room comes from.

The top measures 200 × 100 cm and the height is 76 cm. With that length there is room to serve in the middle and, with 100 cm of depth, to lay places on both sides without the glasses meeting. It is the scale of a large dining room, of a kitchen-diner or of a restaurant that needs a table for intensive use.

It weighs 77.7 kg, a weight you notice when moving it and which explains its stability: it does not wobble when you cut or lean on an edge. It requires assembly. Being so neutral in its lines, it goes with wooden, metal or upholstered chairs without the mix jarring.

It is listed with the catalogue's wooden dining tables.
