Mosnay Dining Table

A 220 cm table in sintered stone with a red aluminium structure

The surface is sintered stone, a compact material of pressed minerals that does not absorb liquids and is cleaned with a cloth. The colour is cream, a light, uniform tone that does not compete with what goes on top of it. Underneath, the structure is aluminium in red: it is the piece's point of colour and, at the same time, the metal that keeps a table this size from being immovable.

The top measures 220 × 100 cm. It is the length of a long table: a centrepiece, a board and a jug all fit without stealing room from the plates, and the 100 cm depth lets you serve from both sides. It is designed for large dining rooms and for professional spaces where the table is used for many hours a day and has to stand up to constant cleaning.

It weighs 64.5 kg, little for a piece of this size, and that balance is down to the distribution of materials: the stone provides the resistance and the aluminium cuts the weight. It requires assembly, with top and structure separate until they reach their destination. The red works well with light walls and microcement or wooden floors.

You can see it with the shop's other large dining tables.
