A long mango wood table for dining rooms with a single run of top

The size comes first: 240 cm long by 105 cm deep, 75 cm high. It is a table with a single run of top, the kind that occupies the axis of the room and takes serving dishes, boards and a jug in the middle without stealing room from the plates. That 105 cm depth is what makes the difference against a narrow table: it lets you serve from both sides.

It is made of mango wood in a brown tone, a dense wood with a pronounced grain that suits warm interiors. It is handmade, so variations of tone, knots and the odd crack are part of the piece and not defects. It is cleaned with a synthetic cloth and soapy water, drying afterwards with cotton; if varnished, a teaspoon of vinegar brings back the shine.

It weighs 71.7 kg and requires assembly: it arrives in two packages, one with the structure and a 247 cm one with the top, a measurement worth checking in entrances and corridors before ordering.

It is one of the long pieces in the dining tables section.
