High-Backed Armchair in Red Velvet

A high-backed armchair in red velvet for switching off for a while

The 94 cm of height is the first thing you notice: the back rises above the shoulders and the enveloping shape closes in the sides, so the armchair shuts out a little of what is going on around it. It is a seat for reading, for a long coffee or a short nap, not a chair you pass through.

The upholstery is a velvet in a dark red tone that contrasts with the matt black of the metal legs, and the seam pattern marks the volumes and gives it a sophisticated air without leaving the domestic. The fabric combines polyester and acrylic, a blend that resists rubbing; the recommended care is professional cleaning only. The filling is polyurethane foam of 32 kg/m³ in the seat and 28 kg/m³ in the back, over a solid reclaimed pine frame.

At 87 cm wide and 95 deep it needs its own space, but it weighs 23.5 kg and arrives assembled. It fits in a corner of the living room, in a bedroom or in a waiting area. It is among the designer armchairs.
