Boga Pendant Horizontal

A linear blown glass light for a long table or a kitchen island

The piece is a horizontal iron bar in matt black with blown glass shades, suspended on a fabric cable. Blown glass is not a uniform surface: it has uneven thicknesses and small variations that show when the light is on, and that is what sets this light apart from a closed linear profile. The iron provides the rigidity needed to hold the 138 cm of total length without the line sagging.

It carries an integrated 24 W LED with 1400 lm at 3000 K, a warm light with a 360° beam angle: it lights the work surface below and at the same time spreads brightness to the sides, so it does not leave the room dark around the table. A CRI ≥ 90 means colours are seen faithfully, which is welcome over a dining table or in a kitchen. The driver is included and switching is on-off.

Those 138 cm call for a long tabletop or an island: that is where the proportion works. The 1.5 m cable leaves room to adjust the height. You can see it alongside the rest of the designer ceiling lights.
