An art deco sideboard in black and gloss green for the dining room

Contrast is in charge here: mango wood in black next to MDF in green with a gloss finish and gold details. It is a current rereading of art deco, in which the gloss is not spread over the whole piece but concentrated on the front, and the gold appears only on the trims. The mango wood provides the density that explains the 55.3 kg of the unit and stands up to the continuous use of dining-room storage.

It measures 152 cm wide, 42 deep and 84 high. That height leaves the top clearly above the dining table: it works for serving standing up, resting a lamp or keeping crockery within reach. The 42 cm depth gives inside capacity without eating into the walkway in a dining room of normal dimensions. It requires assembly and arrives in a 160 × 46 × 80 cm box weighing 61.9 kg, something to bear in mind if it has to go up a staircase.

It works as the main piece of a neutral dining room, in a long hallway or in a living room where the colour is provided by the furniture. There are more options in sideboards.
