A printed rug in beige and dark tones for a calm living room

Dora is woven in polyester, a fibre that stands up to wear and holds its colour without fading in the light. Over a beige ground runs a print in dark tones that gives the whole thing depth: up close you catch the contrasts and, from a distance, the pattern melts into a warm mass. It is the kind of piece that brings character without competing with a plain sofa.

Its 340 × 240 cm put it in the large format. In a living room it takes the sofa with its front legs on it, the whole coffee table and room to walk around; under a double bed it leaves rug on both sides and at the foot. The edge is 1 cm, discreet and easy for a door to clear. It weighs 19.9 kg: enough to settle it on the floor, and enough to call for two people to lay it out.

Care is straightforward: vacuum without a rotating brush, keep it away from damp, and treat stains with a dry cloth or one barely dampened with neutral soap, without rubbing. You can see it alongside the rest of our designer rugs.
