Arena Rug

A square rug in recycled polypropylene, in sand

It is woven in recycled polypropylene, a synthetic fibre with a firm, dry feel that copes well with the constant wear of a walkway. The sand colour is even and the design sober: no pattern takes charge here, what you see is the weave and the tone. That neutrality makes it compatible with wooden furniture, black metal or patterned upholstery.

The first thing you notice is the format: 345 × 345 cm, square and large in surface. It is a size for generous rooms and open-plan floors, where it brings order to a whole living room — corner sofa, coffee table and armchair — without leaving corners stranded. It also anchors a dining table with its chairs, as long as there is margin to pull them out without leaving the border. It is 1 cm high and weighs 19.4 kg, so laying it out is a job for two.

Care is simple: vacuum without a rotating brush, keep it away from damp and, if a stain lands, a dry cloth or one barely dampened with neutral soap, without rubbing. You can see it alongside the rest of our designer rugs.
